About the Institute

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology

RGIPT is an institution of national importance established by the Government of India to serve the energy sector. It operates closely with major PSUs in the oil industry and focuses on Green Energy, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical, and Digitalization.

The campus is located at Jais, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, spread over 47 acres, just ~1.5 km from Guru Gorakhnath Dham Railway Station. RGIPT also has centers in Sivasagar, Assam and Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Students in the final year relocate to the Bengaluru campus to benefit from its rich internship ecosystem and industrial linkages.

Refund of total fees paid minus a processing fee of ₹1,500.

Only the security deposit / caution money is refunded. All other fees are forfeited.
