About ICTU 2024
The global upstream oil and gas industry is at a crossroads today. While the demand outlook remains robust in the medium term, the industry faces disruption from shale/tight oil and gas, a transition to low carbon, and an imperative to improve environmental sustainability. This 2-day international conference aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, industry practitioners, technology providers, and policymakers to discuss recent advances and future directions in transforming upstream operations through new technologies and sustainable practices.
About RGIPT, Jais
The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), Government of India, set up the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology at Jais, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, by an Act of Parliament. The institute has been accorded the status of an Institution of National Importance along with the lines of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The institute is empowered to award degrees in its own right and is co-promoted as an energy domain-specific institute by six leading oil public sector units (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Oil India Ltd., Gail (India) Ltd., Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.) in association with the Oil Industry Development Board. The institute is associated with leading international universities and institutes specializing in the petroleum technology and energy sectors.

- A template for the abstract is available. Please follow the abstract template
- All the abstracts will be peer-reviewed
- At least one of the authors must register per abstract
Selected abstracts may be asked to submit full papers after the conference for publication in the Springer as conference proceeding book volume.
