STEP 1

Go to CIF Portal CIF Portal then CLICK on Internal Users

STEP 2

New User? Register yourself by CLICKING on the Register Button Register Now

If already registered, Go to the Login Button LOGIN with your credentials

Registration Process

If you click on the Register Button you will get a form to register yourself. Fill in your details and then CLICK on Register Button
All RGIPT Internal Users are advised to Register using their official email ID (e.g., xyz@rgipt.ac.in). No other domain ID will be entertained even if registration is successful.

STEP 3

If you will click on Register Button, a verification link will be sent to your email ID which you have entered in/provided in your Registration Form. Check your email and CLICK on the link to verify your account.
After verifying you will get a message that your registration is successful.
Once your Registration is successful you will be redirected to the CIF Login Page in which you have to enter your email and password that you entered at the time of registration. Enter the email ID and correct password and CLICK on the Login Button.
Sample Booking System page will open.

Follow the following steps -

First, you must choose the theme of your analysis under the 08 classifications displayed in the dropdown.
Then, you have to select an Instrument / Facility of your choice from a specific theme in the dropdown.
CLICK Add Button

Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3, even if you need to book MULTIPLE samples using the same selected Instrument / Facility and/or other new instruments

After adding, all your samples for analysis now is the time for payment, if required.
If payment is required then PAY the total amount by calculating yourself. Add 18% of the total charges as GST fee and proceed for payment.

Please provide the Project Number of your analysis work in both cases.
After payment, you will receive a Transaction Number.
Go back to RGIPT CIF Portal and Enter the Transaction Number at the specified space and then CLICK Submit Button.
On successful submission, an auto-generated email will be sent to your registered Email ID to acknowledge your request.
After this, the Nodal Officer CIF will contact you for further processing of your sample(s).
