Ensuring the safety of women is ranked as the topmost priority for every college campus. Our college is no different as it ensures an all-inclusive range of security checkpoints for girls within the premises, through a dedicated team of security personnel. Hailing from Kolkata, thereby being an outstation student myself, I realize the extent to which the institute is committed to providing its girl students a comfortable and ‘feel at home’ ambiance.
First and foremost, the security measures include strategic installations of 24*7 surveillance in and around the campus. The ambulance facility, provision of first aid boxes and fire extinguishers at every nook and corner of the campus makes sure that the well-being of the students in general is taken care of. Particularly for girls, “Women’s Cell”, a forum comprising approachable female faculty members facilitates prompt communication and addressals by preserving the confidentiality of grievances, if any and ensuring speedy actions. Moreover, regular counseling sessions by female hostel wardens serve as a boon by amping up personal awareness about our surroundings. In the hostel area, the constant presence of female guards is an additional relief. TV rooms specially designated for girls are also utilized for relaxation and entertainment.
With all these amenities, half the battle is won when it comes to security issues. In fine, women's friendliness is a part and parcel of this campus.
