Important Instructions for Students

• The convocation ceremony will be held at Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar campus to confer degrees on the students, who passed out in the Academic Session 2022-23.
• Prior to the ceremony on December 01, 2023, a full-scale rehearsal of the function will be held a day earlier i.e. on November 30, 2023 at the AEI, Sivasagar campus.
• Accordingly, you must reach the campus well in advance to participate in the rehearsal. Please note that participation in the rehearsal is mandatory for receiving the degree in person.
• Eligible students who would like to receive their degree at the Convocation shall register by clicking on the "Register Yourself" button below.
• You should also register yourself through the portal even if you are unable to participate in the function due to some urgent reasons. Online portal registration is mandatory for all graduands.

• You may log in using the email ID provided to you by the Institute. The portal shall remain open till Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
• The Convocation robes will be kurta-pyjama or kurta-dhoti with sadri (jacket) and uttariya for boys, and salwar – kamij (kurta) or saree–blouse with sadri and uttariya for girls. The uttariya will bear emblem of RGIPT. The kurta/saree/kamij/sadri will be of cream color and pyjama/dhoti/salwar/blouse and uttariya will be white colour. Uttariya and sadri will be provided to you by the Institute in the forenoon of the day of rehearsal. You will make your own arrangements for the remaining parts of the robe. You have to make an advance online payment of Rs. 1,500/- (One thousand five hundred only) towards the cost of Uttariya and sadri.

• Accommodation shall be available in hostels. You are therefore advised to send your requisition to the In-Charge, AEI, Sivasagar on coordinator-aei@rgipt.ac.in OR dugc_aei@rgipt.ac.in.
• Guest house accommodation for your family members will be made available on the first come first serve basis. You are advised to send your requisition to the Coordinator, Guest House at coordinator-aei@rgipt.ac.in OR dugc_aei@rgipt.ac.in at the earliest to avoid inconvenience.
