    Dr Siddhant Kumar Prasad

    Dr. Prasad is an assistant professor in the Department of Petroleum Engineering and Geoengineering at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. He holds a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) and a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (QS ranking – 30th by subject), Chennai, India. He holds a bachelor’s degree in the same discipline from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.

    His doctoral work in flow assurance area involves hydrate formation and dissociation kinetics and hydrate slurry rheology in a multiphase system involving oil and water. His research interest involves gas hydrates, flow assurance, enhanced oil recovery, carbon sequestration, and supercritical fluids.
