Dr Jaya Srivastava is currently a faculty member and Head, of Department of Management Studies, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Jais, Amethi. She earned her Ph D in Human Resource Management from Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan. Prior to joining RGIPT, she was a faculty member in the Faculty of Management Studies, Banasthali Vidyapith. She has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry, before entering academics. Dr Jaya Srivastava has around two decades of experience in teaching, research and industry.
In addition to teaching various courses in Human Resource Management, Negotiation and Conflict Management, Change Management, Team Building and Leadership, Creativity and Innovation and Strategic Management, she also undertakes research and consulting projects. Dr Srivastava’s consulting and research expertise spans areas like: Human resource management, organizational restructuring, HR and strategic alignment, strategic aspects to communication, negotiation and conflict management.
She is a certified GrowMore Coach, with the experience of coaching business executives in different organizations as well as individuals. She also has experience in Emotional Intelligence Coaching and training and has been conducting EI programs for various client organizations. She has been certified by the Academy of Applied Emotional Intelligence as an EI Assessor and coach. She has also undergone the Daniel Goleman Emotional Intelligence Coaching and Training program.
She has extensive training experience in various sectors like energy, power, textiles, higher education, with a client list that includes companies like IOCL, NTPC, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Education. She effortlessly straddles the world of academics and industry.
