Dr Vijay Kumar Singh received the B Tech degree from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India in 2008, and M Tech degree in the specialization of Power Electronics and ASIC Design from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad (Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh, India in 2012. He completed his PhD degree from the Department of Life Science and Systems Engineering, Kyushu Institute of Technology, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan in 2020. From December 2020 to September 2022, he was at NIT Patna as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Since October 2022, he has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Amethi, India.
He has published many articles in reputed journals and international conferences. He has visited South Korea, China, and various places in Japan for his conference paper presentations. He received many prestigious scholarships during his study in M Tech and PhD He also qualified for GATE and UGC-NET in the Electronics Stream.
His research interests include the design of power converters based on Wide Band Gap (WBG) devices, and development of control techniques for power electronic converters utilized in the process of efficient and quality energy harvesting. He is having hands-on experience in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and digital system design for field-programmable gate array (FPGA) based system implementation.
