    Dr Abhay Pant

    Assistant Professor
    Management Studies

    Dr Abhay Pant is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Amethi and is on lien from IIT Guwahati. Prior to joining RGIPT Amethi, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at IIT Guwahati for over two years and at IIM Rohtak for over three years. He is a fellow (PhD) in management with specialisation in economics from the Indian Institute of Management Indore and holds an MA in financial economics from the esteemed Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics Pune and B Sc in economics from Symbiosis International University Pune. He is the recipient of the Symbiosis School of Economics Distinguished Alumni Award. His teaching interests include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Financial Economics and Bank Management. His research areas of interests include Banking, public affairs, governance and technology adoption.

He is an avid case writer and his case on Indian banking sector has been published in Ivey Publishing and also listed in Harvard repository.
