    Dr Roopa Manjunatha

    Assistant Professor
    Electronics Engineering

    Dr Roopa Manjunatha earned her PhD degree in Instrumentation from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Prior to that, she received her M.E degree with a specialization in Instrumentation and Control from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. She worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Centre of Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology- Delhi. Her PhD work has been reported by the media due to its novelty and usefulness. Dr Roopa has published many research articles in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings. She has a total of 10 years of experience in teaching, research, and development. In addition to teaching, she has worked for over 8 years in some of the best R&D organizations, like IISc and IIT-Delhi, where she performed various tasks related to designing and developing sensors and devices. Her long-term goal is to become an independent researcher in the field of sensors/devices, particularly those that are used for safety and hazard management for humans and vehicles.
