FACULTY PROFILE

My M Tech and PhD degrees are from IIT (BHU), Varanasi, UP, India. I have more than 8 years of experience in teaching and research. Presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Sivasagar Campus, Assam, India since August 2021. Before joining RGIPT, I was working as an assistant professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at BIT Sindri, Dhanbad, a prestigious engineering institute of Jharkhand. I have overseen two doctoral theses, two master's theses, and more than twenty undergraduate projects. Model order reduction, fractional order system approximation, fractional order controller design, Solar PV-based smart grid systems and optimization and evolutionary optimization techniques are some of my main areas of interest.
