Dr Hreetabh Kishore earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Ropar, Punjab. He is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Jais, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. Previously, he served as an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Guwahati and worked as an Assistant Professor at Ghubaya College of Engineering and Technology affiliated by Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Punjab. He also taught as an Instructor/Lecturer in the Department of Manufacturing Engineering and Technology at Tennessee Tech University (TTU), USA, where he handled undergraduate courses such as CAD for Technology, Statics/Strength of Materials, and Applied Physical Metallurgy, along with conducting research on bimetallic structures using Additive Manufacturing. He is also the reviewer of peer reviewed journals include Welding International, Scientific Reports, Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology, Thermal Science and Engineering Applications (ASME). His research interests span Precision Micro-manufacturing, Additive and Sustainable Manufacturing, Incremental Forming, CAD/CAM, Friction Stir Processing, Laser-based Material Processing, and Thermal Management in Semiconductor Devices and Microelectronics. He has participated in multiple international conferences supported by DST Travel Grants and IIT Ropar. Dr Kishore has published 18+ peer-reviewed articles, 21 conference papers, and filed five Indian/International patents (two granted). He has attended numerous workshops, online courses, and FDPs, and served as Student Editor of “Sangam Patrika”, Hindi Cell, IIT Ropar (2018–2023), receiving various awards and recognitions. Dr Kishore has published two books in the area of Smart Manufacturing, AI and Robotics in Manufacturing.
