Symposium on Digitalization for Disruptive Technologies 2024

About Hackathon

In an age characterized by relentless technological progress, the ability to recognize disruptive technologies is paramount for businesses aiming to maintain their competitive edge. These breakthrough innovations are poised to revolutionize numerous sectors, spanning from healthcare and energy to social media. Hacking embodies the ethos of creating solutions that have yet to be realized—a process of envisioning and tirelessly pursuing ideas. It entails embracing failure as an opportunity for growth, continuously iterating and refining concepts. Hacking encourages experimentation, fostering a culture of learning through hands-on experience. Collaboration lies at its core, as individuals come together to cultivate innovative solutions. Ultimately, hacking is synonymous with becoming a proficient problem solver and a more adept technologist. Embracing this ethos, the Energy Institute Bengaluru, in collaboration with NASSCOM, is proud to announce an online hackathon—Digitalization for Disruptive Technologies. We cordially invite all enthusiasts to join us in this exciting and immersive event. For registration, please refer to this link:

The primary objective of this hackathon is to stimulate the advancement of disruptive technologies in crucial sectors such as healthcare, energy, and social media, leveraging the collective expertise of industrial entities. Central to this endeavour is the notion of disruption, wherein participants are encouraged to approach challenges in novel and innovative ways, with a particular emphasis on leveraging information and communications technology. Key technological domains include IoT/Hardware, Big Data, Design, FinTech, Machine Learning, HealthTech, AR/VR, Future Mobility, and Blockchain technologies. Winning hackathon teams will have the opportunity to develop a tool in these domains, guided by industry judges who will also propose problem statements for the hackathon. For industrial partners, supporting this hackathon presents an exceptional opportunity to showcase their capabilities and products, as well as to engage with promising young professionals by offering judgement and industry practicums.
