Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the Construction of New Boys Hostel Building at RGIPT Jais Campus

The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the construction of a new Boy’s Hostel Building was held at a glittering programme in the RGIPT Campus on March 25, 2022. Hon'ble Director, RGIPT Professor A S K Sinha, laid the foundation stone for the new building in presence of Shri Chandra Mauli Tiwari, Chief Engineer, CPWD, Amethi. Senior Faculty Members, Staff, and some students were also present during the occasion.

This hostel is being constructed at a cost of Rs 36.19 crore and will house almost 950 students in 475 state-of-the-rooms.  The thirteen-storied building in the hostel is to be built in a plinth area of 1.84 lakh square feet and will have a dining hall, a warden’s room, indoor game facilities along with other amenities.

As per the update provided by Institute’s Executive Engineer, Mr Harish Yadav the hostel construction is expected to be completed by 2024.
