Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, invites applications from eligible Indian citizens who are superannuated from Government Department/Autonomous Body/PSUs/Government of India’s Scientific Research Organization for the position of Visiting Faculty to support the institute for its development through the corporate relations. This role involves teaching duties along with active coordination with the industries and drafting of CSR-driven R&D, outreach, and infrastructure project proposals.

The place of posting shall be the RGIPT, Bengaluru Campus, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Emoluments INR 80,000-1,50,000/month considering the experience and status of the person so appointed
Duration Initially for one year which may further be extended for another year depending on performance
Age Limit Not exceeding 65 years as on the closing date of the application (Age relaxation as per Government of India rules)

Essential Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in science/engineering/management or allied disciplines from a recognized university/institute.
  • 25+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Relations/ CSR Activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong proposal writing ability and understanding of CSR guidelines and practices.
Desirable
  • PhD in relevant fields OR prior experience in writing and coordinating funded projects (preferably Corporate Relations/CSR).
  • Experience in academic/industrial R&D, public relations, or outreach coordination.
  • Familiarity with industries in oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
Job Profile and Responsibilities
  • Expected to Handle three courses per year in BBA/MBA Programme as teaching duties in the candidate’s area of expertise.
  • Serve as a liaison between the institute and corporate entities.
  • Identify potential CSR funding sources from public and private sector industries.
  • Coordinate with faculty members to conceptualize, develop, and submit CSR project proposals.
  • Monitor proposal progress and assist in compliance documentation post-sanction.
  • Ensuring multiple CSR grants to the Institute on an annual basis
Mode of Selection

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The final selection will be based on merit, performance in interviews and relevant experience.
